“Together in Unity”

Located in Mathias Colomb Cree Nation, we are here to listen and we care. We provide women and children suffering from domestic abuse with temporary and secure shelter in which they can seek refuge to assess their situation.

We offer the following services:        

  • 24 hour toll free crisis line 1-866-432-1041
  • Emergency shelter for abused women and their children
  • Support Groups, walk-in counselling
  • Crisis Counselling
  • Non-judgmental crisis intervention
  • Culturally appropriate, respectful
  • Privacy and confidentiality
  • Referrals to medical, legal, and social service agencies 
  • Open to all other outlying communities
  • Follow-up Services

Located in Shamattawa First Nation, staff is prepared to help you with your needs. Our staff is committed to helping you.
